Curtis R. Hudson was a gifted artist who early on took an interst in leather work. His love of the art form and long residences in Texas, Arizona, and southern California at a time when cowboys were the rage happily coincided. He had shops doing shoe repair, saddle making, and similar work in Kansas City, Arizona, and in Kansas.
