OBITUARY for VIRGINIA MAE HUDSON
Virginia Mae Moore Hudson, a resident of Berryville, was born Sept. 16, 1926, in the Grandview community of Carroll County, a daughter of Floyd and Elizabeth (VanSyke) Moore. She died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006, in Eureka Springs at the age of 79.
Mrs. Hudson was a homemaker and a member of the Grandview Baptist Church. She was deeply loved and will be greatly mourned.

She is survived by her daughter Virginia R. Stepp; two sons, Roy Curtis Hudson and Marvin J. Hudson; three brothers, Robert Moore, J.M. Moore and Floyd Roland Moore; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

On Sept. 18, 1944, she was united in marriage with Curtis Roy Hudson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two children, and one granddaughter.

Graveside funeral services were to be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, at the Moreland Cemetery with Rev. Donald Stepp officiating. Interment was to follow in the Moreland Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.

Obituary for Curtis R. Hudson:
Curtis was born in Bristow, Oklahoma to Jess and Effie Ray Hudson. He died in 1988 and was buried in Calvary Cemetery in Douglas, Cochise, Arizona. He had been preceeded in death by his parents, brother, half-brother, two children and a grand daughter.
