Thomas Plemworth MORTIMORE, father of Eliza Jane MORTIMORE, was born on 2 Oct 1803 in Guilford Co. NC. (49) He died on 6 Jan 1870 in Miami Co. KS. (50) Parents: David MORTIMORE and HANNAH. He was married to Patsey DESHIL on 5 Nov 1826 in Fayette Co., OH. Children were: William MORTIMORE , Elizabeth MORTIMORE, David MORTIMORE, Eliza Jane MORTIMORE, Mary MORTIMORE, Patsey MORTIMORE.

I want to know where did you find such a great photo of the John H Fenton and Eliza Jane Mortimore. It is so awesome. Thanks for sharing it with us. I would love to find more.

Hello I have been working on the Fenton line for my husband, Jack. His father was Dell Henry Fenton and his father was Elmer Elton son of John Henry Fenton. As Neal said, it was a surprise to get the pic of him and Eliza Jane. A friend of minegave me a book called "Polly Peachum and The Peggar's Opera." In it is a picture of Lavinia Fenton who married the Duke of Bolton. She was the mistress of the Dukes' for many years and had 3 sons with him out of wedlock: so his title of Duke of Bolton passed to his brother Harry
