James Wesley Ennis was the son of Elisha Ennis and Matilda Terry. Elisha is thought to be the son of Zachariah Ennis and Matilda was the daughter of William Terry and Barbara Ennis Terry. Zachariah is thought to be Barbara's brother or uncle. "J.W." was a minister with the M.P. (Methodist Protestant Church) and served in Barry County, Missouri for many years.Thanks to the cousin for sending the photo.
